Say "No" to supporting racism

Yesterday, Liverpool's Uruguayan hitman, Luis Suarez got a 8 match ban plus 40,000 pounds fine from the England FA for his part in the racism row with Manchester United's French left back, Patrice Evra. He was allegedly said to call Evra "Negrito" which means "little black man". In his defence, it is a normal thing among dark coloured players in his country and he felt he was misunderstood.

However, Liverpool Football Club through its players and manager showed support for their star player by wearing t-shirts with Suarez's number on the back and a picture of him celebrating in front. 

"Why are we all wearing number 7?" Liverpool players confused as usual.

Does this mean Liverpool Football Club is a club that supports racism and racist? You be the judge.

"Me no racist", Whatever you say Luis.

Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes kini memiliki 66% pegangan dalam pasukan Liga Perdana Inggeris (BPL), Queens Park Ranger (QPR). Beliau membeli saham-saham dari pemilik majoriti sebelum ini iaitu pemilik Formula One (F1), Bernie Ecclestone dan  bekas pemilik pasukan F1 Renault, Flavio Briatore. Pemilik saham lain ialah bilionair India, Lakshmi Mittal.

QPR yang kembali ke BPL selepas 15 tahun, memulakan musim 2011-2012 dengan kekalahan 4-0 kepada Bolton dengan di selubungi persoalan tentang pemilikan QPR serta masa depan pengurus, Neil Warnock.

Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes sudah menyatakan akan memberi sokongan penuh kepada Warnock dalam usaha membina pasukan yang kompetitif dan untuk kekal dalam BPL.

Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes yang merupakan penyokong West Ham United kini menjadi pemilik kepada syarikat penerbangan Air Asia, chairman Tune Group dan juga pasukan Formula 1 Team Lotus Formula One selain dari menjadi pemilik QPR.
