Vettel conquers Monaco in incident filled race

Vettel roars to sixth win of the season at Monaco
Reigning Formula One World Champion, Sebastian Vettel has won the Monaco GP ahead of Ferrari's, Fernando Alonso & McLaren's, Jenson Button.

The race was filled with incidents and was red flagged on lap 69 and resumed 21 minutes later. The red flag did in a way saved Vettel from being caught by Alonso and Button as the tires on his Red Bull Sauber were starting to wear out and in need of a pit stop. However, with the red flag, Vettel changed his tires during the suspension and lead all the way to the chequered flag.

Vettel now leads the drivers standings with 143 points ahead of Lewis Hamilton of McLaren Mercedes on 85 points. Meanwhile, Vettel's team, Red Bull Racing leads the Constructors Championship with 222 points, followed by McLaren-Mercedes on 161 points.

The next race will be in Montreal in two weeks time.
