Dah bayar zakat fitrah anda tahun ini?

Aidilfitri dah makin dekat. Persiapan raya semua dah almost lengkap. Tiket balik kampung pun dah beli. Ada lagi ke benda yang tak buat lagi untuk Aidilfitr tahun ni? Zakat fitrah belum lagi? Haaa...kalau tak bayar zakat fitrah, tak gunalah persiapan raya tahun ni sebab zakat fitrah melengkapkan kesemuanya.

Tahun ni untuk Wilayah Persekutuan kadar fitrahnya ialah RM 7 untuk seorang. Macam aku sebab ada tanggungan (isteri & anak seorang), kenalah bayar RM 21.

Tunggu apa lagi? Pergi lah bayar cepat. Tempat pungutan boleh di jumpai di masjid, surau, pejabat pungutan zakat negeri & ada juga di sediakan di shopping complex.

Duit raya tahun ni berapa mahu kasi daaa???

Sejak aku mula bekerja 5-6 tahun yang lepas, aku mula di selubungi satu soalan besar (yang juga membawa isu-isu lain) yang agak memeningkan kepala setiap kali Syawal menjelma....berapa nak kasi duit raya??? 

Mungkin ada sesetengah akan fikir,"Kalau susah sangat, jangan bagi, nanti tak ikhlas". Betul juga. Ada juga yang akan fikir "Ala...setahun sekali saja, apa salahnya" Betul juga tu. Banyak juga faktor yang perlu di fikirkan bila datang bab nak bagi duit raya ni.

Berapa nak bagi setiap seorang ni??

Macam aku mudah sahaja untuk decide jumlah & siapa yang patut terima, iaitu:

• Beri secara ikhlas supaya di berkati. Kalau bagi tapi dalam hati mengomel-ngomel, baik tak payah bagi.
• Tengok juga pada peringkat umur & kategori. Contohnya, kalau dah kerja (walaupun single) tak masuk dalam list penerima. Dari segi jumlah pulak, yang sekolah rendah sederhana jumlahnya, sekolah menengah lebih sikit jumlahnya dan kalau ada yang datang beraya ke rumah tu, RM 1 + kuih-kuih ajelah ye.
• Paling penting aku mesti akan beri ialah pada datuk, nenek serta kedua ibu & ayah saya serta mak & ayah mertua. Mereka ini yang banyak berjasa pada kita, so inilah masanya kita pula untuk sedikit sebanyak cuba membayar semula jasa mereka walaupun pada hakikatnya sampai akhir hayat kita pun tak terbayar.
• Tak bagi duit tapi bagi hadiah. Ini untuk sesetengah yang kita tahu memang tak kisah terima duit (memang ada!) tapi lebih menghargai hadiah-hadiah.

Macam mana pun, bila nak beri sentiasalah ikhlas, dengan senyuman dan juga waras. Kenapa saya kata waras? Sebab tak nak nanti bila habis aje Hari Raya ikat perut makan kuih raya untuk 2-3 bulan.

This guy is again creating a bit of a stir in the midst of us celebrating our 53rd Independence. His latest video is kinda like a retaliation to the racial issue that was caused by a headmaster of a public school last week, which I have to admit was really poor judgment on behalf of the headmaster. Instead of being a person to look up to and guidance of the whole school, he blundered big time with something that he shouldn't say. But, I think the whole matter is already dealt with by those in power in the Ministry of Education.

Coming back to this guy, who first created a nuisance with his total disrespect of the "Negaraku" anthem, I really hope the proper authorities really throw the book to him this time around. If no action is taken, then I'm afraid he'll continue to create tension among Malaysians.

I am also really intrigued to know whether this guy has deep-lying issues that makes him act in this way. Maybe he has daddy issues, maybe he was dropped on his head when he was a baby or maybe he wears that stupid hat to hide the fact that he has a large gaping hole where his brain used to be (last know location of his brain: halfway to the sun due to humiliation of association).

We'll never know.

Let the proper authorities take care of this insect & focus on improving our lives. Let's celebrate Malaysia's 53rd Merdeka. Remember the sacrifices that our leaders of the past and also of those that came before us made in order for us to have this freedom.

Found this picture of a young dude showing off his very patriotic haircut. I applaud his gesture as our country will be celebrating it's 53rd Merdeka anniversary but there is a question for him. He is 15 years old, so I assume he is in Form 3.

Akhirnya beli juga Smart Tag aku sendiri selepas beberapa lama berkongsi dengan isteri. Di sebabkan dia pun nak guna (memang dia punya pun), aku pun akhirnya terpaksa beli satu untuk kegunaan harian. Kalau takde Smart Tag ni, mahu sangkut lama aku kat tol (terutama sekali Tol Batu Tiga & Tol Sungai Besi).

Aku beli di pejabat PLUS NKVE (exit Subang Jaya) dengan harga RM 130. Dapat Smart Tag unit satu dan juga free kad Touch N' Go yang ada nilai RM 10. Aku dah ada kad Plus Miles, so aku simpan kad baru ni sebagai emergency. Manalah tahu sesak-sesak nanti boleh pakai.

Perkara yang aku nak tanya, perlu ke ada Smart Tag? Aku tahu aku dah explain boleh elak beratur extra panjang kat tol, tapi perlu ke ada lagi-lagi keadaan sekarang dengan kereta banyak di jalan raya?


Ada yang kata, kalau dah ada kad Touch N Go pun dah cukup. Lain pulak yang kata kalau ada Smart Tag boleh potong line terus (& juga boleh eksyen kat pemandu lain).

Kaisan's 1st Shopping Trip

Our son, Muhammad Kaisan is almost 4 months and he has outgrown most of his clothes. So, why not we take him out for his 1st shopping trip. Our destination: Alamanda Shopping Centre in Putrajaya.

All three of us were looking forward for the trip, well. It also gave us a chance to try out the new baby stroller given by the wife's collegues as a gift. Thanks guys. It's really, and I mean REALLY a nice gesture.

Football is back!!!

Football season is back!! 

After a boring and forgetful plus most irritating World Cup, thanks to the Vuvuzelas (my team won anyways, Vamos Espana!), the football season is back. Each season when it ends, a part of my life seems incomplete, like a void or blackhole suddenly appears. 

The new season would be a new adventure and also be a testing one for me because the need to juggle between being an attentive dad & husband and a hardcore Red Devil. So far, Kaisan has been watching the pre-season friendlies with me & I guess whenever I am needed to babysit, he wont mind watching some footy with his ayah.

This season WILL BE the season when Manchester United equals Liverpool's record for the most league titles won. Winning the Charity Shield and squashing Chelski on the way winning it was a bright start. Oldies like Giggsy and Scholesy are still there, Nani, Fletcher, Vidic, Rooney and Rio are starting to share the burden and Javier "Chicarito" Hernandez is an exciting prospect that will freshen up the team.

The specially made Gold Jabulani ball used in Netherlands - Spain Final match in the just concluded FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa went up for auction yesterday on eBay.

The ball which was criticized by players and officials, even Iker Casillas likened the ball to a "Supermarket Ball" due to its unpredictability fetched USD$74,000 or GBP 48,000. The proceeds from the auction went to the 46664 AIDS/HIV Fund which was named after Nelson Mandela's prison number.

I got a surprising YM message from a friend, "Bo, malam ni isi minyak. Naik 5 sen" (Bo, fill up your car tonight. Price going up 5 sen). Rumors have been going around that the petrol prices will go up and even our Government have mentioned that indeed there will be a price hike in petrol.

So, what will you guys do? Join the queue to fill up on petrol (at the same time, burn more petrol) or just accept it and carry on as usual? I was lucky to fill up this afternoon (before the YM message)..hehehe. Lucky me I guess.

Cheque Nuffnang Datang Lagi!

Alhamdulillah. Cheque Nuffnang yang ke-8 dah aku terima Jumaat yang lepas. Memang tepat waktu penghantarannya, 30 hari selepas cashout request. The Spanish Are Champions!

The World Cup ended yesterday after a really dramatic final match between the Dutch and the Spaniards. Andreas Iniesta finally ended it all in the 115th minute. Fifteen cards were branded by English referee, Howard Webb with him sending off John Heitinga after two yellow cards.

The win puts Spain as the 8th country to ever win the World Cup and also ends the label that they are bottlers when it comes to the big stage.

Overall, I think the World Cup as an event this time did not lived up to my expectations but in the end, the best team on the planet won. Congrats Spain!

I got paid! Yup, Google Ads paid me again (this is my second payment) within 3 months. I got my first payment in April (READ HERE).

This time I got paid USD 112.77 and when I exchanged it, I got back RM361.90. I am fine with that. At least I can pay for Astro & Streamyx.
